The collaboration with the European market

LONGi has achieved significant success in the European market, particularly in the smart and renewable energy sectors. One prominent case is its collaboration with Solarcentury, a UK-based solar energy company, for the Nuñez de Balboa project in Spain, one of Europe’s largest solar farms. LONGi supplied a significant portion of the high-efficiency solar modules used in the 500 MW solar power plant. This project not only highlights LONGi’s leadership in supplying advanced solar modules but also its ability to meet the demands of large-scale solar projects in Europe.

Additionally, LONGi has been actively involved in the Smart Energy Europe initiative, where its PV modules are being integrated into smart grid systems across various European markets. By collaborating with European utility providers and smart energy companies, LONGi has contributed to the development of more efficient energy management systems that incorporate renewable energy sources into the grid, enhancing energy storage and distribution.

LONGi’s ability to scale its operations and adapt to the demands of the European renewable energy market—where smart grid technology and energy storage are rapidly growing—has made it a preferred partner for many large projects aimed at achieving the continent’s renewable energy targets.

This success reflects LONGi’s strong alignment with European goals of energy transition and decarbonization, further solidifying its position as a global leader in solar technology.
